CGC Colorado opened in August 2022 in Paragominas, in the Brazilian state of Pará. Since 2023 we have sold 477,800 tonnes of grain (and 2026 is not over yet). We buy from farmers in Pará, Maranhão and Piauí.

We buy from the people who grow it and sell to the companies that process or ship it. Crushing or exporting directly is not part of our plans today.

The first full year closed at 50 thousand tonnes. In 2024 the figure more than doubled, and 2025 stayed at about the same level. 2026 is still under way and has already passed every year before it.

The Green Grain Protocol (PVG-PA) sets the social and environmental criteria for buying grain in Pará. CGC reached 100% of the score. In practice, before closing a deal we check where the grain comes from and whether the land complies with environmental law.

About CGC
It started in 2022, with two partners and a small office
Leotério [sobrenome] and Leonário [sobrenome] already had years of farming behind them when they decided to open a grain trading company in Paragominas. The region was growing, and they bet on it.
